Brijesh Singh remanded to Mumbai police custody
New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjeev Jain today ordered notorious gangster Brijesh Singh under transit remand in the custody of Mumbai police.
Singh was wanted in the infamous J J hospital shootout case in 1992 in Mumbai.
The court asked the Mumbai police to produce the gangster before the concerned court in Mumbai within three days.
Singh was arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi police on January 24 from Bhubaneswar.
Singh, a notorious criminal from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, was wanted by the police for his alleged criminal activity in Uttar Pradesh and outside the state.
He was allegedly associated with with many high profile politicians and police officers in Uttar Pradesh.
