Three containers containing flesh seized

Dhar, MP, Feb 3 (UNI) Three containers containing flesh have been seized and their drivers arrested from this district, police said today.

''On the basis of information received by some Hindu organisations, three containers were seized from Dhamnod area at Agra Mumbai National Highway last night,'' police said.

The containers were conveying flesh from Uttar Pradesh's Bulandshahar to Mumbai. Flesh samples had been sent to Gandhinagar in Gujarat for analysis. It was suspected that the flesh was meant for export to Gulf countries.

Thirteen containers containing flesh were seized recently from Dhamnod area in Dhar. Analysis of samples had confirmed that containers contained 175 tonnes of beef.
