Mumbaikars experience light showers
Mumbai, Feb 3 (UNI) Light showers lashed Mumbai this morning. Officials of Met Department told UNI that Western region disturbance led to a mild drizzle measuring less than 0.5 mm, resulting in an increase in the relative humidity.
The region has been experiencing chilly weather for more than two weeks.
Earlier, the coldest day in last 45 years was recorded in this month when mercury dipped to as low as 10.5 degree Celsius.
Colaba in the southern part of the city today recorded a maximum temperature of 28.0 degree and minimum of 17.6 degree while Santacruz recorded a maximum of 29.5 degrees and minimum of 16.5 degree Celsius.
Cold wave will continue for a couple of days, informed the official.
