Fire breaks out in passenger train; no casualty

Ballia, Feb 3 (UNI) Fire broke out in a Ballia-Mau passenger train here this evening.

The incident occured at 1600 hrs near Sagar Palli railway station when a bogie of the passenger train 575 caught fire, Assistant station in-charge Sanjay Singh said.

According to official sources, the bogie was carrying reed stalk, which accidentally caught fire.

No casualties were reported.

Investigations were underway UNI XC-PDM LPB HT2024
