Chandigrah and Jammu residents in Kashmir CB net
Srinagar, Feb 3 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police Crime Branch (CB) has registered a case under section 420-B RPC against every resident of Chandigrah and Jammu for cheating people.
According to reports, the accused cheated people lakhs of rupees on the promise to send them to European and other Gulf countries for employment.
It said the CB received a compliant from Mohammad Zubair Khan and C A Khan alleging that they had paid lakhs of rupees to the accused after they promised to send them to Canada for employment.
They further alleged that neither they were send to Canada nor their money was returned to them by the accused.
The CB, after initial investigation, has registered FIR 05/2008 under section 420-B RPC against the accused.
