APSRTC to run special buses for Fair

Hyderabad, Feb 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has made elaborate arrangements to provide special bus services to Medaram in Warangal District on the occasion of the famous 'Sammakka Sarakka Jathara' festival from February 17 to 24.

A release here today said for the first time, special buses would be operated from Agency Areas in Visakhapatnam, East Godavari and West Godavari Districts to Medaram.

As many as 2,500 special buses would be operated from various districts in the State.

About 100 officers, 200 supervisors and 6,000 crew members were being drawn from various districts for special duty.

Besides, senior officers had also been posted at important points for supervising and monitoring the bus services.
