CRPF sub-inspector, three jawans killed in explosion

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Feb 2 (UNI) A CRPF sub-inspector and three jawans were killed in a naxal-triggered landmine explosion at Bribeda in Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh this evening, police said.

Inspector General of Police (Bastar range) R K Vij said the deceased included sub-inspector Roshan Kumar Minj and three constables Jai Kumar, Beej Kumar and Mushtaq Ahmed.

CRPF jawans had come to Narayanpur to make some purchases. They were returning on their motorcycles when the explosion took place.

On receiving information, senior police officials have rushed for the spot.
