Bomb threat to TRS office a hoax

Hyderabad, Feb 2 (UNI) A bomb threat to the office of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS), spearheading a movement for statehood to the Telangana region, turned out to be a hoax, midnight last night.

Police swung into action after a television channel received an anonymous telephone call that bombs have been planted in the TRS headquarters and it would explode any time.

Police, with the help of sniffer dogs, made a thorough search, but no explosive material was found, police sources said.
