Ravi new GM of BSNL Goa

Panaji, Feb 1 (UNI) Mr G R Ravi took charge as the General Manager, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), Goa Telecom district.

Mr Ravi, who belongs to the 1986 batch of Indian Telecommuncation Service officers, succeeds Mr A K Desarkar.

Before joining BSNL, Goa, he had worked in various capacities in the execution of telecom projects in Maharashtra Circle and Southern Telecom projects circle. He has also worked on deputation in TCIL foreign project in Ghana, West Africa.

Prior to the new assigment, he was working as Deputy General (Mobile planning and Development), Gujarat Telecom Circle, Ahmedabad.
