CBI seeks permission to chargesheet ''high-ups'' in recruitment scam
New Delhi, Feb 1 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation today sought the permision of the Haryana Speaker to file chargesheets against the high officials and political leaders allegedly involved in the Junior Basic Teachers' recruitment scam.
CBI sources told UNI that permission has been sought by the ''concerned authorities'' to file chargesheets against the accused in the JBT scam.
''As the issue involved senior officials and political bigwigs, permission was needed to file chargesheets against them.'' ''We have written to the authorities seeking permission and awaiting their reply,'' the sources added.
The CBI had last week once again submitted its report to the Supreme Court on the findings into the scam following a direction by the apex court.
