DC International Book Fair from Feb 1

Kochi, Jan 31 (UNI) More than 10 lakh books would be on display at the fourth DC International Book Fair, which will commence here on February 1.

The 11-day fair would be jointly inaugurated by writer Jaishree Mishra and actor Mohanlal, DC Books CEO Ravi Deecee said yesterday.

Around 100 publishers, including foreign companies, would participate in the fair, in which literary personalities like Anita Nair, Zeruya Shalev, Ronald E Asher, Shashi Tharoor, Zakaria, T Padmanabhan and O N V Kuruppu would be present, he added.

Mr Ravi said books on medicine, engineering, law, aircraft, nano-science, photonics, maths, law, environmental science and nursing, fiction and non-fiction books in English and Malayalam would be available at the fair.

During the festival, books written by Shashi Tharoor, Zakaria, P Bhaskaran, V Madhusudhanan Nair, Mohanlal, Sathyan Anthikad and Shyama Prasad would be released, he said.
