Three naxalites arrested from hospital in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Jan 30 (UNI) In a major breakthrough, Jajpur police today arrested three naxalites from a private hospital here.

One of the arrested naxalites is suspected to be Anna Reddy, who was looking after the operation of CPI(ML), a radical outfit in Orissa, police said .

All the three were attending one Nanika Jamda, who was admitted to the hospital on January 28 for treatment of cerebral malaria.

Jajpur police believed the group was behind the violence in Kalinganagar industrial area and leading the anti-industrialisation movement in the area.

They were also involved in the killing of three forest officials at Kankadahat earlier. The police had kept a close vigil on the movement of Reddy and his associates for the past few days.

All the three naxalites were taken to Jajpur for further interrogation, the sources said.
