One killed, seven injured in jeep accident

Mahaboob Nagar, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 27 (UNI) A 35-year-old woman was killed on the spot and seven others were injured when the jeep in which they were travelling overturned on the outskirts of Narayanpet in this district, today.

Police said the jeep was proceeding to Narayanpet from Damargedda when the mishap occurred. The axle of the Jeep broke and the driver lost control over the vehicle.

The woman passenger G Mogulamma died on the spot.

All the injured were admitted to a local hospital.

Following the incident, the jeep driver fled from the scene, police added.
