Sanitaion workers threaten to launch agitation
Kakinada, Jan 25 (UNI) The night sanitation workers of the Kakinada Public Health Cooperative Society today threatened to launch an agitation if their wages pending since last six months were not paid without any further delay.
A delegation, led by AITUC District Secretary Kirla Krishna Rao, Society President V Suryaprakasa Rao and Secretary Misala Srinivasarao, met Municipal Commissioner A Siva Koti Prasad and urged him to take steps to dusburse the wages with arrears by the month end.
The delegation also urged the commissioner to reinstate all the 60 sanitation workers removed recently from the service.
