Father kills his daughter and stabs his family in a rage of angry

Shimoga, Karnataka, Jan 24 (UNI) In a gruesome incident, a man said to be suffering from mental disorder, has killed his two-and-half-year old daughter and stabbed his Mother, wife and son at Tudki village in Tirthahalli taluk in the district today.

Police said that Dinesh Gowda (50) stabbed his wife Sharada (35), Mother Lalithamma (68) and daughter Divya and five month old son after picking up a quarrel while performing rituals of his father's death anniversary.

Dinesh Gowda, who was upset with his mother's remark while performing rituals stabbed all his family members and tried to commit suicide consuming poison.

While his daughter was succumbed to injuries, Mother, Wife and infant boy were admitted to hospitals with grievous injuries. The condition of Dinesh Gowda was also stated to be series.
