Republic Day honour for CBSE topper
Kochi, Jan 22 (UNI) Maria Ann Mathew has received a special invitation from the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development to witness the Republic Day Parade from the Prime Miniser's Box at Rajpath in New Delhi.
Last year's CBSE topper from Rajagiri Public School in Kalamassery near here, Ms Maria Ann Mathew was selected for the honour on the basis of her exemplary performance in the Class XII examination. She secured third rank in the Chennai Region and second rank in Commerce Group.
Daughter of a leading Chartered Accountant from Palarivattom in the city, Ms Maria is presently pursuing B A Economics (Hon) at St Stephens College in New Delhi.
