Cave-in during Tazia procession kills 3 in UP
Lucknow, Jan 20 (UNI) At least three people, including two minors, were killed and over 20 others severely injured after a dilapidated terrace caved-in during Tazia procession in Ganth area of Moradabad district today.
According to police, people had scaled up a terrace to watch the Moharram procession at village Salempur this evening.
By the time, locals rushed to rescue, three people had already succumbed, to their injuries.
The injured were admitted to hospital in a life threatening condition.
The deceased were identified as Anees (40), Sameer alias Raja (14) and Saddan (10).
Bodies had been sent for post-mortem.
