Manager killed for non-payment of salary
Mumbai, Jan 14 (UNI) A 26-year-old sectional manager was stabbed to death by his employee outside the 'Magnet shopping mall' at Matunga in North-central Mumbai today.
According to police sources here, Vijay Goridhar Karande, manager of sweepers' department of the Mall, had refused to pay last two months salary to Kuldip Bhanupratap Yadav (22).
Around 1130 hours this morning, the accused again went to ask his salary from Karande, which he refused to give. later, when Karande came out, Yadav stabbed him on his neck, abdomen and chest.
He was rushed to Lokmanya Tilak Hospital. But, he succumbed to injuries before admission.
Police have registered a case of murder and is investigating the matter.
