Shekhawat to meet fire victims in Kolkata
Jaipur, Jan 13 (UNI) Former Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat will visit Kolkata on January 15 to meet the victims of devastating fire in Barabazar in which around 2,500 shops were gutled yesterdayday.
According to Mr Shekhawat's Office here, he would reach Kolkata from New Delhi around 1200 hrs and meet the victims.
The loss of goods and property in the fire is estimated to be around Rs 250 crore. More than 60 per cent of burnt shops belong to the Rajasthani traders hailing from Sikar, Churu and Bikaner districts.
