Rail roko attempt demanding conduct of Jallikattu thwarted
Madurai, Jan 13 (UNI) Eighteen activists of the Tamil Maanila Shiv Sena today attempted to stage a 'rail roko' agitation near Madurai Railway Junction, demanding permission for the conduct of 'Jallikattu' (taming of bulls) in Tamil Nadu.
The agitators, led by party State President M Thoothai Selvam, were rounded up by the police before they could enter the railway junction.
