Bamsan-Lagwalti lift water supply scheme be completed: CM

Shimla, Jan 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal today said Bamsan-Lagwalti Lift Water Supply scheme would soon be dedicated to the people of Bamsan-Mewa.

In an informal interaction with mediapersons at Awahdevi in Hamirpur district he revealed that the executing department has been directed to maintain strict quality control so that the scheme could have a longer life.

''Government would scrutinize all the related aspects to make sure that quality material was used'', he added The Chief Minister said that a sum of Rs 22 crore has ben earmarked for construction of Hamirpur Bypass. to ease traffic congestion in the district headquarter town.

Mr Dhumal said that Awahdevi temple management will be given sufficient funds to develop the shrine.
