PPP gives Pakistan govt 48 hrs to seek UN help in Benazir killing probe
Larkana, Jan 11 : The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has urged the Pakistan government to request the UN to form a Benazir Bhutto Inquiry Commission for investigation into the killing of the former premier Benazir Bhutto within the next 48 hours.
The party said in case the Government didn't pay heed to its demand, it will raise the matter directly with the UN for a suo motu action, reported the Daily Times.
The party conveyed the demand to the country's Caretaker Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister in a three-page letter signed by party's Co-chairman and Benazir's husband Asif Ali Zardari.
