Congress ultimatum to Koda govt a 'political gimmick': Munda

Dhanbad, Jan 11 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda today said the Congress' ultimatum to the UPA backed Madhu Koda government to 'perform or perish' within two-months was nothing but a 'political gimmick'.

Talking to UNI here, Mr Munda said Congress was more resposible for the 'dismal' condition of the state as the party was extending its support to a government which had failed on all fronts.

''Even the Common Minimum Programme programme was yet to be announced'', he pointed out.

He said Congress was eager to come in power and the deadline was just a pressure tactics.

To a query, Mr Munda said the Congress had created political instability in the state and people would not forgive it.
