Truck mows 3 children in Pimpalgaon

Nashik, Jan 9 (UNI) A truck today mowed three children to death in Pimpalgaon, Baswand town area of the district.

According to sources, the three children, identified as Roshni Jadhav (13), Guddi Dhule (13) and Sachin Kharate (12), all residents of Veetbhatti slum area of Pimpalgaon Baswand area, were sitting around a bon-fire on the road side, when a truck on its way to Niphad, mowed them in an attempt to overtake another truck at the old agriculture produce market committee road.

The driver managed to escape from the spot. The local residents enraged over the incident took to the streets. However, Adequate police ''bandobast'' have been deployed in the area and the situation is under control.
