Bodies of ITBP men killed in Afghanistan brought to India
New Delhi, Jan 9 (UNI) The bodies of two Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel killed in a suicide attack in Afghanistan on January have been brought to India.
Sources said an Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft, carrying the bodies of the two slain ITBP men and five wounded personnel, had left Iran for here this afternoon.
Two ITBP personnel were killed and five others wounded when a suicider bomber attacked a Border Roads Organisation convoy in Nimroz province of southeastern Afghanistan on January three.
They said the wounded men and the bodies of the slain personnel were first taken to Iran's Jabol city from Afghanistan.
The AN 32 aircraft, carrying the bodies and the injured personnel, reached here from Iran at around 2030 hrs, the sources said.
