Two arrested for creating panic in Iscon Mall

Rajkot, Jan 8 (UNI) Police have arrested two youths in connection with a bomb hoax.

The duo, Vishal Kataria (17) and Ajay Kanji (20), had allegedly made a phone call to create panic among the customers at Iscon Mall here on Saturday, the police said.

They were arrested by the Malaviyanagar Police from Anjar in Kutch district and brought to Rajkot.

The duo got the telephone number of one of the shops in the Mall from a newspaper advertisement. They then made a call on the number and informed that a bomb had been planted in the Mall, the police said.

The police traced the number from the call records with the help of the service providers to locate the caller.
