Prohibitory orders around the Assembly complex from Jan 10

Panaji, Jan 7 (UNI) The North Goa district collector has ordered imposition of prohibitory orders, under section 144 CrPC, within 300 metres around the State Legislative Assembly complex at Porvorim.

The order will be effective from January 10 to 18, when the House meets to transact the Winter session.

Being the first session of the New Year-2008, the House will be addressed by Governor S C Jamir, followed by other government business.
