Ontario Minister discusses tie-ups with Punjab

Chandigarh, Jan 8 (UNI) Mr Harinder Takhar, Minister for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Ontario, Canada today called on Punjab Local Government, Industries and Commerce Minister Manoranjan Kalia at his residence and discussed the issues of mutual cooperation between the two states.

During interection with Mr Kalia, Mr Takhar mentioned that Ontario state has strong base of automobile industry, power generation units, construction industry including the construction of roads, bridges and toll ways.

Mr Takhar invited the Minister to bring a delegation of industrialists to explore the possibilities of tie-ups.

Both the Ministers, decided that the process of interaction and mutual cooperation would be carried forward and continued between the two states. It was also decided that a delegation from Punjab would visit Ontario in near future to have tie-ups between entrepreneurs of Punjab and Ontario State.
