Monk's death will be thoroughly probed: Patil
Mumbai, Jan 8 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil today said a detailed inquiry will be made into the death of the Buddhist monk whose body was found hanging from the ceiling of his house on Sunday.
Mr Patil visited Govandi, Deonar areas in north east Mumbai today where tension prevailed for the last two days following the death of the monk.
Meanwhile, the second autopsy on the body of 77-year-old monk, Bandant Sanghraj Thairo, has failed to point out any thing conclusive for the investgators, and now the probe hinges on the viscera report, according to police.
On Sunday, the monk's body was found hanging from the celing of his house under mysterious circumstances, which led to widespread agitation across several parts of the city.
