Sales increase by 54.84%: ABG Shipyard Ltd
New Delhi, Jan 7 (UNI) ABG Shipyard Ltd, country's largest private sector ship building firm, today said its sales has increased by 54.84 per cent in the third quarter of this fiscal.
The net income for the company stood at Rs 276.95 crore, a growth of 55.17 per cent as compared to Rs 178.48 crore posted in the same period a year ago. The net profit also increased by 60.82 per cent to Rs 47.11 crore as compared to Rs 29.30 crore last year, a company statement said.
''The enhanced productivity, faster delivery and repeat order from existing client has reflected in current quarterly results,'' company's CEO Dhananjay Datar said.
The company has also received orders worth Rs 1,040 crore from existing international customers, the statement added.
