Health Officer caught while accepting bribe

Bangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) An Assistant Administrative Health Officer, Kolar, was caught redhanded by Lokayukta sleuths while accepting a bribe for showing official favour.

According to a release from Lokayukta, M T Ashwathanarayan had demanded Rs 2000 to countersign a bill sent by G M Bhagyalakshmi who was in charge of cleaning work and maintenance of Srinivasapura Hospital.

The official was caught redhanded by the Kolar Lokayukta police while accepting the bribe.
