Govts accused of neglecting families of freedom fighters

Dharwad, Jan 7 (UNI) Laxman Nayak, Great Grandson of Sindhoor Laxman, who fought against the British Government during pre-independence, today accused the Centre and State Governments of neglecting the families of freedom fighters.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Laxman said his great-grandfather left his wife and children at the age of 24 to participate in the freedom movement.

He alleged that several organisations made money in the name of Mr Laxman, but his family was left in the lurch.
