CBR launches Human Resource Programme for disabled

Bangalore, Jan 7 (UNI) The Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Network, South Asia, has launched a national-level Human Resource Development Programme through Bangalore University for community based rehabilitation of disabled persons.

CBR Chief Coordinator Srikumari Kartha, talking to newspersons here today, said ''the programme will generate adequately trained and orient persons in the rehabilitation sector. It will also generate employment opportunities.'' She said to prepare well-trained quality workforce, the Bangalore University would offer courses in the areas of CBR, Epilepsy, inclusive of education and early childhood care and development.

Ms Kartha said the students enrolled would be provided with study guide, course material and online tutor support among other things.
