Encounter between police and ultras in Latehar
Latehar, Jan 5 (UNI) An encounter between the Jharkhand police and Maoist Communist Centre of India (MCCI) ultras occurred at the Panwar forest area under Balumath police station in this district today.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravikant Dhan said about 200 rounds were fired by the police but no casulty was reported in the incident which occurred during regular police raids.
The ultras fled from the spot, leaving behind uniforms, naxal literature and food items, the SP added.
