CPI(ML) criticises govt for neglecting people's issues
Puducherry, Jan 5 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) today criticised the government for neglecting the issues of the people here.
In a statement, CPI(ML) state secretary S Balasubramanian said at a time when the people were facing several problems, including drinking water shortage, PCC President P Shanmugham and Rajaya Sabha member V Narayanasamy had indulged in levelling allegations against each other to cover up the failures of the government and to divert the attention of the people.
Mr Balasubramanian demanded a white paper on the government medical college, which was under construction here.
He also urged the administration to take immediate steps to withdraw the unscheduled power cuts and fill up the vacant posts in Karaikal government general hospital.
