Bomb scare at Rajkot's Iscon mall turns hoax

Rajkot, Jan 5 (UNI) An anonymous call to the Iscon mall management warning that a bomb had been planted in it, turned out to be a hoax after a thorough search by the police here today.

City Police Commissoner Sudhir Sinha told UNI that the management of Iscon mall, situated at 150 ft ring road, received the call this evening. Following which, the management evacuated the mall and alerted the police, who swung into action and dispatched a dog squad and a bomb squad to the spot. They carried out a combing operation but nothing objectionable was recovered from the spot, he added.
