ONGC to earn Rs 9.3 cr from its 3rd CDM project
New Delhi, Jan 4 (UNI) ONGC today said it has registered its third Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project with the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate change (UNFCCC) with an estimated Carbon Credits (CER) of 97,740, equivalent to annual earnings of Rs 9.3 crore green revenue.
Two of ONGC's projects have already been registered with UNFCC, a company statement said.
With these, the oil major has distinguished itself as the first PSU to have its CDM projects registered with the UN body.
''In addition to financial gains, these strengthen ONGC's global position as an environment friendly Oil company,'' said the statement.
