K'taka Governor distributes Agri awards
Bangalore, Jan 3(UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today asked the winners of 'Krishi Pandit' award to help the farmers to realise better yield and income.
Speaking after distributing the Agriculture annual awards here, he called upon the awardees to develop innovative and creative technology to help the farmers to get better yield and higher income.
''We must do everything possible to restore faith and pride in farming,'' he added.
Mr Thakur gave away the State Agriculture awards to 38 people for their contribution in the field of agriculture in the state.
