CM seeks prelim report on stampede
Vijayawada, Jan 3 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today asked Endowments Commissioner Sundar Kumar to submit a preliminary report on the stampede at Sri Durga Malleswara Swami Temple here, which left six people killed and 15 others injured this morning.
''I will visit the temple and the hospital, where the injured are admitted to ascertain the cause of the tragedy,'' Mr Kumar told UNI.
The preliminary report is expected by tonight or tomorrow morning, he added.
