Call money opens high at 6.30 per cent

Mumbai, Jan 3 (UNI) Inter-bank call money rates today opened at 6.30 per cent as against its previous close of 2.75 per cent.

The overnight call rates were traversing in between the range of 2.00-6.00 per cent.

During the intra-day trading, call rates were trading at 5.50 per cent.

Dealers said that the there is ample liquidity in the system which has forced the call rates to dip down below three per cent on Wednesday.
