Talks on nuke deal in last leg: Manmohan
New Delhi, July 18: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said the talks between India and the United States on the nuclear deal were in the final stages, but it was difficult to set a date for the conclusion of the related 123 agreement.
''We are in last leg of negotiations,'' Dr Singh told reporters here on the sidelines of a book release function.
Dr Singh's remarks coincide with the launch of a fresh round of talks between a high level Indian delegation led by National Security Adviser M K Narayanan with his US counterpart Stephen Hadley and other officials.
