'Pak pre-occupied with its own problems now'

Srinagar, July 12: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister FarooqAbdullah today said Pakistan had shown flexibility on the Kashmirproblem, but asserted that the present situation in the neighbouringcountry has put the vexed issue on a back-burner.

Addressing a news conference at the National Conference (NC)headquarters here, he said when India showed its willingness to respondto Pakistan's flexibility, the situation in that country changedsignificantly.

''Things have drastically changed now. Pakistan is pre-occupiedwith its own internal problems at present,'' the NC patron added.
