Raj: 'Rs 2 lakh compensation for Suraj's family'

Jaipur, July 7: Expressing grief over the death of five-year-old Suraj, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today announced Rs two lakh compensation to his family.

The Parliamentary Secretary in charge of Information and Public Relations Department Bhawani Singh Rajawat has informed this at the hospital.

Five-year-old Suraj was taken out from the 180-feet deep borewell and rushed to the hospital where he was stuck for more than 53 hours.

Suraj had fallen into the borewell in Nimera village here on Wednesday evening.
