Spell of rains, thundershowers in next 48 hours
Mumbai, June 25: A dry spell this morning gave some relief to officegoers to reach their destinations, after the last 24 hours incessant rainfall disrupted the metro's lifeline, the local train services yesterday.
However, being a Sunday, it did not affect the daily routine of Mumbaikars much.
The weather bureau forecasts heavy spells of rains or thunder showers with a possibility of heavy downpour in some parts of the city and its suburbs, accompanied with strong gusty winds in next 48 hours.
Colaba has recorded a rainfall of 59.4 mm while Santacruz has recorded 84.00 mm during the last 24 hours.today.
The total rainfall recorded from June 1, is 474.3 mm at Colaba and 454.0 mm at Santacruz.
Colaba has recorded maximum temperature of 28.4 degrees Celsius and minimum of 24.5 degrees, while Santacruz has recorded a maximum 28.6 and a minimum 24.1 degrees, official sources added.
