M'shtra: 90-year-old building collapses; 2 trapped

Mumbai, Jun 24: A 90-year-old, five-storeyed building collapsed here this evening trapping six people under the debris as heavy rains lashed the metropolis since last evening.

The building, Mohd. Ali Mansion situated in Girgaum area of South Mumbai, was unoccupied except for a sweetmeat shop on the ground floor.

Six fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to help in rescue work.

Among the six trapped, four persons have been rescued with two people including a girl still trapped under the debris, fire brigade sources said.
