'Indian' employees calls off strike

New Delhi, June 14: Indian Airlines Employees Union has called off strike after an agreement was reached with the management today afternoon. 'Indian' flights will resume in few hours there by bringing in relief for the air passangers.

'Indian' ground staff had called the strike demanding wage arrears and promotion. The strike was called off after the management decided to pay the wage arrears. However, decision on promotion issues will be taken later.

The strike, which was termed illegal by the Delhi High Court, led to suspension of 23 employees. Decision on these employees will also be taken later.
