'Decision on Presidential candidate in due time'
Jaipur, May 28: Union Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal today said that ruling UPA would take a decision on candidate for the presidential election at an appropriate point of time.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Jaiswal said that process of informal interactions was on and decision would be taken at an appropriate time after due consultation and discussions with all.
He said that UPA would obviously hold discussions with Left Front and all other allies and would take a joint decision.
Reacting on some media reports, Mr Jaiswal said they could not decide the issue without Leftists''.
However,he remained non-committal over possibility of national consensus for the highest office in the country.
