Mobile, remote recovered from Mecca masjid
Hyderabad, May 20: Bomb detection squads and forensic experts today recovered a mobile phone and a remote from the Mecca Masjid where a blast on May 18 left 14 persons dead and more than 50 injured.
The teams from Mumbai and New Delhi thoroughly searched the Masjid premises after arriving here.
The state police had yesterday found a mobile phone attached to a bomb which had not exploded yesterday.
The team also recovered some articles from the water tank where devotees wash themselves before going for prayers. The teams were examining these articles to ascertain if these belonged to the devotees or had fallen accidentally from the pockets of the terrorists.
