IIM-K likely to maintain status quo on admission

Kozhikode, Apr 24: The elite Indian Institute ofManagement-Kozhikode (IIM-K) today said it would most likely maintainthe status quo on admissions for its post graduate programmes beginningJune 2007.

''The IIM-K will most probably complete admission process sansquota for the 2007 batch,'' in the wake of the Supreme Court's refusalto vacate the interim staty on 27 per cent reservation for the OtherBackward Classes in the elite eduational institutions in the country, aspokesperson of the premier business school told UNI.

However, he said, a formal decision on the issue would be taken bythe six IIM directors, who are scheduled to meet in New Delhi later inthe day.
