Jharkhand: JMM MP Mahto killed in Naxal attack

Jamshedpur, Mar 04: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MP Sunil Mahtowas shot dead while three of his commandoes werekilled allegedly by CPI (ML) activists at Kesharpur near Ghatshila inEast Singbhum district of Jharkhand tonight.

Official sources said the MP was in a criticalcondition when admitted to Tata Main Hospital but later succum,bed to bullet shots.

Sources said Mr Mahto had gone to East Singbhum district to attend a football match where he was attacked by the extremists.

The militants, in an ambush, had snatched the weapons from the commandoes.
